Kitchen rules

Same safety rules
in every dish

The recipes differ from bot to bot. The way each order is protected does not.

Hard stop loss

Every order goes in with its stop attached, so the most it can lose is known before it opens.

No grid, no martingale

No averaging into losers and no doubling up after a loss.

Recipe built in

Tested settings are embedded. Nothing to optimise, no set files to hunt for.

You choose the portion

Set how much each order risks. Start small and change it any time.

Questions before you order

What is PipChef?

PipChef is the kitchen behind a small menu of Expert Advisors (trading bots) for MetaTrader 5. Each bot is named after a dish and ships with its tested settings built in.

Where do I buy a bot?

On the MQL5 Market. Every dish page links to its MQL5 product page, where you pay, get your licence and install the bot straight into MetaTrader 5. PipChef never handles your payment or your trading account.

Can I try a bot before I buy it?

Yes. The MQL5 Market offers a free demo of each Expert Advisor that runs in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester, so you can test it on your own broker's data first.

Which platform do I need?

MetaTrader 5 on Windows, or on a Mac or Linux setup that runs MetaTrader 5. The bots are not available for MetaTrader 4.

What do I set myself?

The portion size, meaning how much you risk per order, plus a spread cap and display options. The trading settings are the recipe, and they are built in so there is nothing to optimise.

Do the bots use a grid or martingale?

No. Every order has a hard stop loss, and no bot adds to a losing position or doubles its size after a loss.

Which broker should I use?

Any MetaTrader 5 broker that offers the symbols listed on the dish page. A low spread account helps, and each bot can skip an order when the spread is above your cap.

Does my computer need to stay on?

The bot trades only while MetaTrader 5 is open and connected. Many traders use a virtual private server, such as the MQL5 VPS, to keep it running.

Are the results guaranteed?

No. The results on this site are Strategy Tester backtests, which are historical simulations. Live results will differ, and you can lose money. Start with a small portion and a demo account.

Every PipChef bot has a free demo on the MQL5 Market. Test it on your broker's data before you spend anything.
